Connection Lost  is a fast paced tower defense game made for the Lost Relic Games - Game Jam 2022.

ABOUT THE GAME:

Playing and learning: 

In this game not only you can have fun fighting threats from an infected connection on the internet, but you also have the opportunity to read and learn about types of computer viruses that are attacking this fictional user ( CautiousUser123 ) system and how they affect it.  

Special-ops 220619: 

Programmed by the Strike-Back Defense AI system security application, your mission is to protect the system of the unsafe connections established by a very careless user

Smooth, fast and lighter:

When programming this I tried to avoid many mistakes I did in my first game, including the messy/inefficient code and unnecessary amount of extra scenes with only 1 use.

I made sure to add more features, information about the game mechanics and also tried to keep the game as light as possible (because there's no plausible reason for this little 2D game end up a heavy  game)

A simple animated tutorial to help you get started and 2 levels to test your concentration and strategy abilities

 I hope you like cute enemies because as usual, I had to try to make all enemies cute...

Not every update is a good update,  {CautiousUser123 }  obviously wouldn't take the risk so they did not update their anti-virus...

• Old limited software  =  no upgrades for the towers during the game

As they usually say :  If it  was too easy is woudn't be fun... So thanks {CautiousUser123 } for making our experience... intriguing. 

Maybe they might install an update in the future, who knows what might happen until the end of the game

There's nothing more satisfying than seeing a speedy enemy have their speed slowed down by 50%
